The MISSION of COMOTA is to build, maintain, and promote sustainable natural surface trail use near and around the Columbia, Missouri area. Est. 2018

The Cedar Creek Trail section that is south of Hig The Cedar Creek Trail section that is south of Highway Y and the Pine Ridge Recreation Area section got mowed by COMOTA this week just in time for what should be a beautiful weekend on the trails! 👏

You can easily access this section from three parking spots- Pine Ridge Campground, small gravel lot off CR365, or small pull off on Burnett School road near Cedar Creek bridge. Volunteers also installed new sign posts to make this section to follow.

Remember to practice good trail etiquette while out on the trails on what will surely be a busy weekend.

Don’t forget to sign in when visiting the Forest. This allows USFS to gauge types of trail users, numbers of trail users, and can help determine how funds are allocated to directly impact our local trails.
