These will be the final events focusing on finishing the trail tread and making seamless transitions from the old trail then we will be closing off the old trail on Sunday! It has been a very fun project and we are excited to open it up to the public!

What- Springbrook Trail reroute
Where- Meet at intersection of East Rock Bridge Lane and South Rock Bridge Lane (parking available on both sides of roadway)
When- Saturday, May 2nd 8-11am & Sunday May 3rd 8-11 am

In the event of inclement weather we will cancel the event. If that happens we will announce postponement by 7 am day of event on this calendar.

Sturdy shoes, pants, and eye protection is recommended and dress appropriately for the weather. We will be supplying the tools but feel free to bring your own. Bug spray highly recommended as the ticks are out. Volunteers can expect to hike 1-2 miles roundtrip. Volunteers don’t need to stay the whole time, leave as needed, any help is appreciated!

Please check out comotrails.org on what to expect at a COMOTA trail workday. This event will be led by volunteers Andy Schuette and Nate Smith.
