The MISSION of COMOTA is to build, maintain, and promote sustainable natural surface trail use near and around the Columbia, Missouri area. Est. 2018

We are happy to announce that all the local trails We are happy to announce that all the local trails are dry. COMOTA volunteers have been able to get a lot of trails string trimmed and washouts fixed too! 

Updates- Woodpecker Hollow downed trees are cleaned up and trail is in decent condition after the June flood.

Moon Loop is string trimmed and mowed. 

Rhett’s Run trails are in very good shape after the recent June 21st race. 

Gans Creek Recreation Area Disco Ridge (green) trail has received lots of TLC recently. Berms and rough spots have been worked on by staff and volunteers. Trail is ready to enjoy!

Rock Bridge Memorial State Park trails have been string trimmed and several spots have been fixed. Still more work to be done but trails are open. 

Work event this Sunday!- 
Join us from 8-11 am at Rock Bridge State Park this Sunday, July 12th! We need to fix some badly eroded and poor draining spots on Deer Run and Springbrook trails in preparation for the upcoming Show Me State Games Mountain Bike Race. 

Tools are provided but feel free to bring your own. Plan to bring water and a snack, going to be warm.  This will be a good event for all ages. Plan to hike 1-4 miles roundtrip to the various work locations.
