The MISSION of COMOTA is to build, maintain, and promote sustainable natural surface trail use near and around the Columbia, Missouri area. Est. 2018

Join us as we help host a work event with ForColum Join us as we help host a work event with ForColumbia at Gans Creek Recreation Area! 

We are very excited to help co-host another ForColumbia work event with Columbia Parks and Recreation! This year we will be working with a large group of ForColumbia volunteers planting 250 trees! and removing honeysuckle along the new Gans Creek Recreation Area trails.

All volunteers will be meeting and parking at the Gans Creek Recreation Area Maintenance building off South Gans Creek Road. COMOTA signs will be up at intersections and go to these coordinates-  38°53’04.3”N 92°17’22.8”W

Volunteers will be working outdoors in this park to:
-Remove invasive honeysuckle and other unwanted plant growth
-Plant trees along the newly developed multi-use trails
