The MISSION of COMOTA is to build, maintain, and promote sustainable natural surface trail use near and around the Columbia, Missouri area. Est. 2018

We are extremely happy to announce we have 9 new c We are extremely happy to announce we have 9 new certified Sawyers to help keep our local and statewide trails open and clear of downed trees!! 👏

These folks took the time and effort to attend our second Developing Thinking Sawyers Chainsaw Safety Class that COMOTA has hosted. The instructors were fantastic and made the two day class extremely worthwhile for everyone involved.

Big shout out to Pizza Tree Columbia for the delicious pizza, US Forest Service for helping make this happen, Pattersons Forestry Services, and ALL the volunteers! We couldn’t do events like this without the amazing support!

But the fun isn’t over yet as another group of volunteers arrives today to get recertification, yippee! 🙌
